Freelance Auctioneer

Paul Dixon is an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Fellow of both the National Association of Valuers & Auctioneers, as well as Estate Agents and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. He is a former President of the Auctioneers & Surveyors Association in Surrey

The freelance auctioneering service is tailored to the individual clients’ specific requirement. This will normally include ongoing liaison in the run up to the auction. A pre-auction meeting usually takers place the day prior, to ensure total familiarity with procedures and lots. The auction will be implemented in accordance with the clients’ own policies (also reflecting guidance notes published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), with the overall objective of achieving maximum bids. A de-briefing takes place following the auction.

Fees are discussed on an individual basis, taking into account such factors as value and number of lots. Where expenses are appropriate (i.e. travel, accommodation) this will be kept to a minimum and agreed in writing with the client at the outset. Attendance can be on a "one off" basis, or as a longer term "Resident" or "Guest" auctioneer.

The service is available at any location throughout the UK and globally.
